Hiya! I'm Chris Mourtos (otherwise known as Chris Michas), a 28-year-old Greek-American animator and multimedia artist based out of New York City, NY.  Born in Texas and having grown up in Washington State, I draw inspiration from many places both within and outside of the U.S. Currently I am enrolled at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, for a BFA in Animation, which is my passion. In addition to animation, I am also a digital illustrator, character designer, and writer, and am currently working on my side project, an upcoming project called Vanillzebub.
 
My main focus is animation, and I enjoy working in a team setting and collaborating in order to craft exciting stories. I also enjoy challenging myself and finding solutions to difficult problems. I would love to make relatable animated cartoons that would inspire and uplift children and adults alike, just as my favorite cartoons have done for me.
